Types of Room

Lobby: A landing area from where the user can go to any other room. Treat this like a landing page on a website.

Auditorium: A room that is dedicated for streaming or also called a session room where the videos can be streamed or played. This room has a space dedicated for video player with interactive options like, live emojis, chat, polls etc.

Help Desk: This is a room that is used for support. You can guide users to a helpdesk for general and technical queries. You will need to create a chat and assign personnel

Track Room: Similar to Auditorium, track rooms can be used for parallel sessions. In the events world track rooms are also referred to as breakaway halls.

Track Lobby: If there are more than one track room, a track lobby gets automatically created and a grid gets created of all the track rooms that a user can find.

Exhibitor Room: Just like an Exhibition has booths, an exhibitor room is a booth where one can showcase their products & solutions. This room has features like Video screen, audio video chat, resource library etc.

Exhibitor Lobby: If there are more than one exhibitor room, a track lobby gets automatically created and a grid gets created of all the exhibitor rooms that a user can find.

Resource Center: This room is like a library where you can host on-demand resources in the form of PDF, External URLs & videos that an attendee can consume anytime during the event.

On-Demand Room: This is a session room but the videos here are always on-demand. Live streaming won’t be possible in these rooms. The videos need to be added in the form of video embed URLs from Vimeo or YouTube into the agenda item being tagged for these types of rooms. This can be enabled for Auditorium & Track room type of rooms by selecting ‘Is On-Demand Room’ under the room features.
